Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP services.
- Configure and troubleshoot network infrastructure, firewalls, and VPNs to ensure secure connectivity.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal IT security standards, NIST guidelines, and internal policies.
- Perform system backups, patch management, and disaster recovery planning to minimize downtime.
- Provide Tier 3 technical support and guidance to end-users and internal teams.
- Document technical processes, system configurations, and operational procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems administration, preferably within the federal or government contracting sector.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CCNA, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, and Windows Server 2016/2019/2022.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- U.S. Citizenship required for federal contract work.
