Key Duties

The IT Support Specialist will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of our internal networks and supporting end-users during off-hours. This role requires a self-motivated individual who can troubleshoot complex issues independently.

Responsibilities

  • Provide tier 2 and tier 3 technical support for hardware, software, and network connectivity issues for state employees.
  • Execute and document weekend server maintenance, patch management, and system backups.
  • Monitor system performance and respond to alerts regarding network outages or security threats.
  • Assist in the deployment and configuration of new workstations and peripherals.
  • Maintain accurate records of all support tickets and maintenance logs in the service desk database.

  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments and Active Directory.
