Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize Windows Server, Linux, and cloud infrastructure environments
- Implement cybersecurity protocols and conduct vulnerability assessments
- Provide Tier-3 technical support for enterprise systems and user issues
- Coordinate disaster recovery planning and business continuity testing
- Document IT processes and create technical training materials
- Collaborate with vendors on system upgrades and new technology deployments
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years administering Windows Server and Active Directory environments
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), and cybersecurity best practices
- Experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and container technologies
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to communicate technical concepts clearly
- Government or public sector IT experience preferred
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification required
