Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize server infrastructure including Windows/Linux environments
- Implement cybersecurity protocols and conduct vulnerability assessments
- Provide Tier 3 technical support for state agencies
- Develop disaster recovery solutions and business continuity plans
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Document IT procedures and create technical documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system integrations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years administering Windows Server and Linux environments
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification required
- Experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and cloud platforms
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and Active Directory
- Texas residency required at time of hire
- Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance
