Responsibilities
- Manage, maintain, and optimize enterprise server infrastructure including Windows/Linux systems
- Implement cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive state data
- Provide Tier-3 technical support for state agencies across West Tennessee
- Deploy and monitor cloud solutions (AWS/Azure) for state applications
- Document system configurations and create disaster recovery plans
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on IT infrastructure projects
- Ensure compliance with state IT policies and federal regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (5 years experience accepted in lieu)
- 3+ years administering Windows Server and Active Directory environments
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent cybersecurity certification required
- Experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and cloud platforms
- Strong knowledge of network infrastructure (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Ability to obtain and maintain Tennessee IT security clearance
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
