Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure including firewalls, VPNs, and cloud services
- Manage critical systems supporting state agencies using AWS/Azure platforms
- Lead cybersecurity incident response and vulnerability remediation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on digital transformation initiatives
- Develop technical documentation and implement disaster recovery protocols
- Mentor junior IT staff and conduct technology training
- Ensure compliance with state/federal IT security standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of enterprise infrastructure management experience
- CCNP/CCIE or AWS/Azure certifications required
- Expertise in network security frameworks (NIST, CIS)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and containerization
- Ability to obtain NC government security clearance
- Proven project management skills with complex deployments
