Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Management: Oversee the installation, configuration, maintenance, and repair of servers, network devices, and operating systems across multiple data centers.
- System Security: Implement and monitor security protocols to ensure data integrity and compliance with federal and state cybersecurity standards.
- Technical Support: Provide advanced troubleshooting and Level 3 support for complex hardware and software issues affecting end-users.
- Project Implementation: Lead and participate in IT upgrade initiatives, including cloud migration and software deployment.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed technical documentation, including network diagrams and incident reports.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Certifications: CompTIA Security+, CCNA, or equivalent IT certification preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of progressive experience in systems administration and network engineering.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, Linux, and Cisco networking equipment.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with non-technical staff.
