Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure network infrastructure for county operations.
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for a diverse range of hardware and software systems.
- Enforce cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive government data and ensure compliance with state regulations.
- Lead and manage IT project initiatives, including system upgrades and software deployments.
- Conduct regular system audits, performance monitoring, and capacity planning.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in network administration, system engineering, or IT support.
- Valid Class C Texas Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Strong technical proficiency in Windows Server, Linux, and cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
- Experience with ITIL frameworks and government compliance standards.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical staff.
