Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project lifecycles from initiation through closure, ensuring deliverables are met on time and within budget.
- Manage cross-functional teams and stakeholders, including vendors, contractors, and state agency personnel.
- Develop detailed project plans, risk assessments, and communication strategies.
- Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions to ensure alignment with state regulations and organizational goals.
- Facilitate agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Prepare regular status reports for executive leadership and government oversight committees.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, specifically within IT, government, or large-scale enterprise environments.
- Proven experience with PMP, CAPM, or similar project management certifications.
- Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical jargon for diverse audiences.
- Ability to navigate complex regulatory environments and compliance requirements.
