Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain local and wide-area networks, including hardware and software systems.
- Implement and monitor security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks, and information.
- Provide technical support to end-users regarding hardware and software issues in a government environment.
- Perform system upgrades, patches, and troubleshooting to ensure system uptime and performance.
- Ensure strict compliance with government security protocols, NIST standards, and ITIL frameworks.
- Conduct regular system audits and backups to prevent data loss.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy new technologies and infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT systems administration.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
- Active Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance is required.
- Proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, Linux, and virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and firewall configuration.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a regulated environment.
