Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain server hardware and software infrastructure across multiple data centers.
- Implement and monitor security measures to protect sensitive government data and ensure compliance with state regulations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex system issues to minimize downtime and service disruption.
- Configure and manage network devices, firewalls, and VPNs to ensure secure remote access.
- Perform regular system backups and disaster recovery testing to ensure business continuity.
- Document system configurations, procedures, and technical specifications for team knowledge sharing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Network+, or CCNA are highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in systems administration or network engineering.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, and virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS) is a plus.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Level I Fingerprint Clearance Card.
