Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the organization's server infrastructure, ensuring 99.9% uptime.
- Implement and monitor security protocols to protect sensitive state data and federal compliance standards.
- Diagnose and resolve complex hardware and software issues for internal staff and external agencies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, execute, and document system upgrades.
- Conduct regular system audits and perform preventative maintenance.
- Provide technical support and training to government employees.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems administration or IT support within a government or large enterprise environment.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, and virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Familiarity with federal and state cybersecurity regulations (e.g., NIST, FISMA).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Valid US citizenship and ability to pass a background investigation.
