Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex IT systems and network infrastructure to support government operations.
- Provide advanced technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Conduct regular system audits and security assessments to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize digital government services and improve user experience.
- Manage data security protocols to protect sensitive public information and citizen data.
- Prepare technical documentation, system diagrams, and user manuals for staff and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (equivalent experience may be considered).
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in IT systems analysis, network administration, or a related government role.
- Strong knowledge of networking, database management, cloud technologies, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose complex technical issues efficiently.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical staff.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Security Clearance.
