Responsibilities
- Analyze complex system requirements and translate them into detailed technical specifications for government projects.
- Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure to ensure high availability and security for city operations.
- Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and compliance checks in accordance with federal and state standards.
- Provide advanced technical support and training to government staff and department heads.
- Collaborate with external vendors and contractors to manage software licenses and hardware lifecycle management.
- Document technical processes and maintain accurate system logs for audit purposes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in systems analysis, network administration, or IT support.
- Familiarity with government compliance frameworks (e.g., FISMA, NIST) is highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and at least one major enterprise operating system (Windows Server/Linux).
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Valid Florida Driver’s License and a clean driving record required for site access.
