Job Description
About Nexus Horizon Solutions
We are the architects of tomorrow, building the digital backbone for the year 2026. We are seeking a visionary Lead 2026 Systems Architect to join our elite engineering team and define the scalability, security, and intelligence of our next-generation platform.
In this pivotal role, you will bridge the gap between theoretical future-tech and practical implementation. You will lead a cross-functional squad in designing robust systems that integrate advanced AI, quantum-ready infrastructure, and seamless human-machine interfaces.
Responsibilities
- Architect Future-Proof Infrastructure: Design and oversee the implementation of system architectures that are scalable, resilient, and prepared for the technological shifts of 2026.
- Lead High-Stakes Projects: Spearhead the development of core platform components, ensuring delivery timelines are met without compromising on quality or innovation.
- AI & ML Integration: Collaborate with data scientists to embed machine learning models directly into the core system architecture for real-time decision making.
- Cloud & DevOps Excellence: Manage complex cloud environments (AWS/Azure) using Kubernetes and Terraform to ensure 99.99% uptime and rapid deployment cycles.
- Technical Mentorship: Foster a culture of continuous learning by mentoring junior architects and engineers in modern software engineering practices.
- Security & Compliance: Implement state-of-the-art security protocols to protect user data and intellectual property in an evolving threat landscape.
Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 5 years in a Lead or Architect role.
- Technical Stack: Deep expertise in Python, Go, or Rust, with strong knowledge of distributed systems.
- Cloud Mastery: Proven track record architecting solutions on AWS or Azure, including serverless and containerized environments.
- Future-Forward Thinking: Demonstrated ability to evaluate and integrate emerging technologies (e.g., Web3, Edge Computing, AI Agents).
- Leadership Skills: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
