Responsibilities
- Lead the R&D Strategy: Define and execute the technical roadmap for Project 2026, focusing on Generative AI, Large Language Models, and autonomous decision-making systems.
- Architect Scalable Systems: Design and oversee the implementation of robust, high-performance distributed systems capable of handling petabyte-scale data.
- Team Leadership & Mentorship: Build, mentor, and inspire a diverse team of engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into elegant technical solutions.
- Technical Excellence: Establish and enforce best practices for coding, testing, and deployment, ensuring code quality and system reliability.
- Future-Proofing: Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure Nexus Horizon remains at the cutting edge of the tech landscape.
Qualifications
- Education: Masterβs or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the AI/ML or high-tech sector.
- Technical Skills: Deep expertise in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar ML frameworks. Strong background in cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- System Design: Proven track record of designing complex, scalable distributed systems and microservices architectures.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and technical teams alike.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to tackle ambiguous problems and drive solutions from concept to production.
