Responsibilities
- Sort, prepare, and deliver mail and packages to residential and commercial addresses along assigned routes
- Operate postal vehicles safely and efficiently in all weather conditions
- Collect outgoing mail from customers and businesses
- Maintain accurate delivery records and customer communication
- Perform basic mail processing duties at distribution facilities
- Assist with special delivery services during peak seasons
- Adhere to USPS safety protocols and delivery standards
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly
- U.S. citizenship or permanent residency
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to walk 5-8 hours daily in varying weather
- Basic computer literacy for tracking systems
- Strong customer service orientation
- High school diploma or equivalent
