Responsibilities
- Sort and process incoming and outgoing mail and packages with speed and accuracy.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles, ensuring cargo is secure.
- Operate postal machinery and handheld scanning devices efficiently.
- Verify addresses and ensure proper labeling of all outgoing mail.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace at all times.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and physical handling guidelines.
- Provide exceptional customer service at the service counter when required.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to lift, carry, and push packages weighing up to 70 lbs repeatedly.
- Valid driver's license (Class C) and a clean driving record.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to operate handheld scanners.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including early mornings, nights, and weekends.
