Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages to residential and business customers in a timely and accurate manner.
- Sort and organize incoming and outgoing mail and packages according to established routes and schedules.
- Obtain proper signatures and proof of delivery for time-sensitive items.
- Collect and process outgoing mail, including collecting postage fees and processing packages.
- Provide courteous and professional customer service, answering inquiries and resolving issues.
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the delivery vehicle and the work area.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and postal policies.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or have the legal right to work in the United States.
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License (Class C or equivalent).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 70 pounds repeatedly.
- Physical stamina required to walk, bend, stand, and climb stairs for extended periods.
- Good vision (corrected if necessary) and the ability to distinguish colors.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
