We are looking for individuals who are physically fit, customer-focused, and ready to work in various weather conditions.
Responsibilities
- Sort and process mail manually and/or using automated equipment.
- Deliver mail to residential and business customers along a designated route in all types of weather.
- Obtain signatures and proof of delivery for registered, certified, and special mail.
- Place mail in mailboxes or hand it directly to customers.
- Update delivery records and address files as necessary.
- Report any irregularities, such as damaged mail or unsafe conditions.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or have appropriate alien status.
- Valid Driver's License (required for most carrier positions).
- Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours).
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 70 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and customer service skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
