Responsibilities
- Sort and process incoming mail and packages efficiently according to established routes and delivery schedules.
- Deliver a high volume of mail and parcels to residential and business customers in a safe and timely manner.
- Collect and process outgoing mail, ensuring accuracy and adherence to postage regulations.
- Interact professionally with customers, answering questions and resolving delivery concerns with a positive attitude.
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the delivery vehicle at all times.
- Follow all safety protocols, traffic regulations, and postal service policies while driving.
- Report any damaged or undeliverable items promptly to the station manager.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or have Permanent Residency status.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 70 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for long periods.
- Pass a background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle check.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Excellent physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
