Responsibilities
- Sort mail and packages accurately and efficiently according to established procedures.
- Deliver mail along a prescribed route in a safe, timely, and courteous manner.
- Interact professionally with customers to answer inquiries and resolve issues.
- Load and unload mail from vehicles, including walking while carrying heavy loads.
- Adhere to strict safety regulations and postal service policies at all times.
- Update delivery records and maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle and work area.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident status is required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver's license (commercial license not required for entry-level).
- Physically capable of lifting packages up to 70 lbs and walking 10+ miles per day.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
