Responsibilities
- Sort and process incoming and outgoing mail efficiently and accurately.
- Deliver mail along designated routes in a timely manner, ensuring all items are placed in the correct mailbox or addressed area.
- Obtain signatures and proof of delivery for certified and registered mail when required.
- Sort packages and manage high volumes of mail during peak seasons.
- Provide exceptional customer service to residents and businesses along the route.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including the delivery vehicle.
- Follow all USPS safety protocols and operational guidelines.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or legal resident eligible for employment.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 70 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic computer skills for logging delivery information.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
