Responsibilities
- Sort and process incoming and outgoing mail efficiently and accurately.
- Deliver mail and packages to residential and business customers along an assigned route.
- Interact professionally with customers to resolve delivery issues and answer inquiries.
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of delivery vehicles.
- Collect and process postage due on eligible items.
- Follow all postal safety regulations and operational procedures strictly.
Qualifications
- United States Citizenship or Permanent Resident status is required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- A valid driver's license (Class B CDL preferred but not always required for entry-level).
- Ability to lift, carry, and push packages weighing up to 70 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently in all weather conditions.
- Pass a background check and drug screening.
