Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on city parks, playgrounds, and recreational facilities
- Operate and maintain light equipment (mowers, trimmers, trucks)
- Assist in street cleaning, sidewalk repair, and storm drain maintenance
- Respond to citizen service requests and perform minor repairs
- Follow safety protocols and maintain equipment cleanliness
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on special projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid California Class C driver's license
- 1+ years of maintenance or construction experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in outdoor conditions
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and equipment
- Strong commitment to public service and community values
- Ability to pass background check and physical examination
