Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of public facilities, parks, and transportation corridors
- Operate specialized equipment including street sweepers, utility vehicles, and hand tools
- Document work activities using digital reporting systems and maintain compliance records
- Respond to citizen service requests within established SLAs
- Assist with emergency infrastructure repairs during extreme weather events
- Participate in community beautification initiatives and special event support
- Train on new municipal technologies and sustainable practices
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications preferred
- Valid Nevada Class C driver's license with clean record
- Minimum 2 years experience in public works or field maintenance
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Proficiency with mobile reporting applications
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
