Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair public parks, streets, and municipal facilities
- Operate heavy machinery (e.g., mowers, tractors, trenchers) safely and efficiently
- Perform seasonal tasks including snow removal and storm debris cleanup
- Assist in emergency response operations during natural disasters
- Conduct routine inspections of public infrastructure
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on community improvement projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Tennessee driver's license with clean record
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor in all weather conditions
- Basic mechanical aptitude and equipment operation experience
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
