Responsibilities
- Perform grounds maintenance, landscaping, and park upkeep across Nashville's 4,000+ acres of green space
- Operate light machinery including mowers, trimmers, and hand tools safely and efficiently
- Assist in roadway maintenance, litter control, and stormwater management initiatives
- Support emergency response teams during severe weather events and public safety operations
- Maintain accurate work logs and equipment inspection records
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Tennessee driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tool operation and safety protocols
- Strong teamwork skills and ability to follow verbal/written instructions
- Pass pre-employment background check and physical assessment
- Willingness to obtain required certifications (provided by employer)
