Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery for road maintenance and public infrastructure projects
- Perform preventative maintenance on city facilities and equipment
- Respond to emergency weather-related public service requests
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on urban development initiatives
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards and municipal compliance protocols
- Document maintenance activities using digital reporting systems
- Participate in community beautification and public space enhancement projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Arizona Commercial Driver's License (Class B)
- Minimum 2 years experience in municipal maintenance or construction
- Certification in heavy equipment operation preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Pass pre-employment physical and background check
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification or willingness to obtain
