Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain city facilities, parks, and public spaces
- Perform routine inspections of infrastructure including sidewalks, drainage systems, and street signage
- Respond to service requests within city service standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on urban beautification projects
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and environmental regulations
- Document maintenance activities using digital work order systems
- Participate in emergency response during weather events
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 2 years experience in facility maintenance or public works
- Valid California Class C driver's license with clean record
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to operate power tools and light machinery safely
- Strong physical stamina for outdoor work in varied weather
- Basic computer literacy for reporting systems
- Spanish bilingual skills highly desirable
