Responsibilities
- Maintain city parks, trails, and recreational facilities including playgrounds, sports courts, and green spaces
- Operate and perform routine maintenance on light equipment (mowers, trimmers, snow removal tools)
- Conduct facility inspections and repairs on municipal buildings and structures
- Respond to citizen service requests for public area maintenance and repairs
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and environmental regulations
- Assist with emergency weather response (snow/ice control, storm cleanup)
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and equipment records
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid Colorado driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years experience in groundskeeping, facility maintenance, or related field
- Certification in CPR/First Aid preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of landscaping tools and equipment operation
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and emergencies
