Responsibilities
- Manage municipal infrastructure projects including road repairs, drainage systems, and public facility maintenance
- Ensure compliance with federal/state environmental regulations (CEQA, NPDES)
- Coordinate emergency response for public works incidents during weather events
- Oversee contractor bids and construction quality assurance
- Prepare technical reports and budget documentation for City Council
- Implement sustainable infrastructure solutions using green technology
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field
- 3+ years of municipal infrastructure management experience
- California Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
- OSHA 30-hour construction certification required
- Proficiency with GIS mapping and AutoCAD software
- Valid California Class C driver's license
- Experience with federal grant applications (FEMA, HUD)
