Responsibilities
- Perform routine landscaping, mowing, and general grounds maintenance for city parks and public areas.
- Inspect, repair, and maintain park facilities, including playgrounds, restrooms, and pavilions.
- Operate and maintain a variety of power tools, heavy machinery, and landscaping equipment.
- Respond promptly to service requests and citizen complaints regarding park conditions.
- Ensure compliance with all city safety regulations and environmental standards.
- Assist with snow removal and ice control during adverse weather conditions.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Valid Class E Florida Driver’s License with a good driving record.
- Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds, stand for extended periods, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of landscaping techniques, power tools, and maintenance procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret work orders and safety manuals.
- Strong commitment to customer service and community engagement.
