Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on municipal facilities, parks, and transportation infrastructure
- Operate heavy equipment including graders, forklifts, and snow removal vehicles
- Conduct safety inspections and document maintenance activities
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams on city improvement projects
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests during extreme weather events
- Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment
- Adhere to OSHA and city safety protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- 2+ years of facility maintenance or construction experience
- Valid Colorado Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Certification in heavy equipment operation preferred
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions and irregular hours
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Basic computer proficiency for reporting systems
- Pass background check and drug screening
