Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on city facilities, parks, and public infrastructure
- Operate heavy machinery (mowers, sweepers, snow removal equipment)
- Inspect and repair electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and municipal safety standards
- Coordinate with city departments for infrastructure projects
- Document maintenance activities and submit timely reports
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 3+ years of commercial or municipal maintenance experience
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license with clean record
- Certification in HVAC, plumbing, or electrical systems preferred
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Proficiency with hand/power tools and diagnostic equipment
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Must pass background check and drug screening
