Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair municipal facilities, parks, and public infrastructure
- Operate heavy machinery and specialized equipment safely and efficiently
- Respond to emergency service requests during weather events
- Perform preventative maintenance on city vehicles and equipment
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams on urban development projects
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and municipal safety regulations
- Document maintenance activities using digital reporting systems
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid Colorado Class B Commercial Driver's License
- 3+ years of municipal maintenance or construction experience
- Certification in heavy equipment operation preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Experience with GIS mapping systems a plus
