Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, repair, and installation of municipal facilities, parks, and street infrastructure.
- Operate and maintain a variety of heavy equipment, including trucks, backhoes, mowers, and jackhammers.
- Inspect work sites to ensure strict compliance with safety regulations and city standards.
- Respond promptly to work orders and emergency maintenance requests from the public.
- Collaborate with a diverse team of engineers, planners, and other technicians to execute complex projects.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Arizona Class C Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience in general maintenance, landscaping, construction, or related fields.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting and carrying heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and standing for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools, and safety protocols.
