Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair public streets, sidewalks, and roadways to ensure safe passage.
- Operate heavy municipal equipment, including dump trucks, loaders, and snowplows.
- Perform snow and ice removal operations during winter weather events.
- Inspect and maintain traffic signs, signals, and street lighting fixtures.
- Assist with park maintenance, landscaping, and trash removal.
- Respond to emergency service requests and public inquiries regarding infrastructure.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is highly preferred.
- Previous experience in public works, construction, or general maintenance.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Commercial Driver's License.
- Physically fit to perform heavy labor in various weather conditions.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
