Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair city infrastructure, including roads, sidewalks, and public spaces.
- Operate heavy machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Perform landscaping, snow removal, and sanitation duties as required by weather and schedule.
- Inspect work sites to ensure compliance with safety regulations and city ordinances.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests and public service inquiries promptly.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Class C Tennessee Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Physical ability to perform heavy manual labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs and operating hand tools.
- Basic knowledge of safety protocols and equipment operation is preferred.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
