Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on municipal infrastructure, including roads, sidewalks, and drainage systems.
- Operate heavy machinery and vehicles such as dump trucks, loaders, and backhoes in a safe and efficient manner.
- Assist with snow and ice removal operations during inclement weather to ensure public safety.
- Inspect public parks and green spaces to identify maintenance needs and perform landscaping duties.
- Respond to emergency service requests and public inquiries regarding city services.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with OSHA safety standards and city policies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Oklahoma Class C Driver’s License.
- Ability to perform physical labor in various weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold.
- Basic knowledge of construction and maintenance equipment is preferred.
- Strong commitment to public service and adherence to safety regulations.
- Ability to pass a post-offer medical examination and background check.
