Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on city infrastructure, including roads, sidewalks, and public facilities.Operate heavy machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently.Conduct street sweeping and sanitation duties to ensure clean and safe roadways.Respond promptly to service requests and complaints from the community.Inspect work areas for safety hazards and report findings to supervisors.Assist in emergency cleanup operations during severe weather events.Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.Valid California Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record.Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety protocols.Ability to perform physical labor in various weather conditions.Strong commitment to public service and community integrity.Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.Experience in public works or general maintenance is a plus.
