Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance of parks, playgrounds, and athletic fields
- Operate heavy machinery including mowers, tractors, and snow removal equipment
- Assist with street repairs, sign installation, and traffic control setup
- Respond to weather emergencies including snow plowing and debris cleanup
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and minor repairs
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams for infrastructure projects
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and OSHA standards
- Complete accurate maintenance logs and incident reports
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Colorado Class B driver's license (CDL preferred)
- Minimum 2 years' experience in groundskeeping or construction
- OSHA 10-hour certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic mechanical aptitude and equipment troubleshooting skills
- Strong teamwork and communication abilities
- Must pass background check and drug screening
