Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on city parks, sidewalks, and public facilities
- Operate light machinery (e.g., mowers, trimmers, sweepers)
- Respond to emergency repair requests within 24 hours
- Conduct safety inspections of municipal infrastructure
- Assist with seasonal projects (e.g., landscaping, snow removal)
- Maintain accurate work logs and equipment records
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on city-wide initiatives
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Nevada driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather
- Basic mechanical aptitude and equipment operation skills
- OSHA 10-hour safety certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Preferred: 1+ years of maintenance or construction experience
