Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on city buildings, parks, and public facilities
- Operate and maintain landscaping equipment (mowers, trimmers, etc.)
- Conduct minor repairs on structures, walkways, and playground equipment
- Manage waste collection and recycling operations in assigned zones
- Assist with snow removal and winter weather response
- Monitor facility safety and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams for large-scale projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license with clean record
- 1+ years experience in maintenance, landscaping, or construction
- Ability to operate power tools and heavy machinery safely
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift 50+ lbs
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, or carpentry preferred
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Pass background check and drug screening
