Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on city parks, streets, and public facilities
- Operate light equipment (mowers, trimmers, trucks) safely and efficiently
- Respond to service requests and emergency repairs within SLAs
- Conduct daily safety inspections and maintain equipment logs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects
- Adhere to OSHA, EPA, and municipal regulations
- Participate in community beautification initiatives
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Arizona Class C Driver's License (CDL preferred)
- 1+ years landscaping/construction experience
- OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification (or obtain within 90 days)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of irrigation systems and horticulture
- Successful background check and drug screen
- Fluency in English (Spanish bilingual preferred)
