Responsibilities
- Perform daily maintenance of sidewalks, streets, and public parks
- Operate specialized municipal equipment (sweepers, graders, etc.)
- Respond to emergency infrastructure repairs and weather-related incidents
- Collaborate with engineering teams on capital improvement projects
- Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations
- Document work activities and maintain equipment logs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid California Class C driver's license (CDL preferred)
- Minimum 2 years construction/maintenance experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in all weather conditions
- Basic computer literacy for reporting systems
- Strong commitment to public service excellence
