Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on city facilities, parks, and public infrastructure
- Operate and maintain landscaping equipment (mowers, trimmers, etc.)
- Assist with snow removal, debris cleanup, and seasonal maintenance
- Conduct safety inspections and report hazards to supervisors
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on special projects
- Ensure compliance with municipal safety regulations
- Support community events and facility setup activities
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Indiana driver's license with clean record
- 1+ years of maintenance or landscaping experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in all weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and equipment operation
- Strong commitment to public service and community values
