Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on municipal facilities, parks, and roadways
- Operate heavy equipment including trucks, graders, and landscaping machinery
- Implement stormwater management and erosion control protocols
- Conduct infrastructure inspections and prepare detailed maintenance reports
- Coordinate with community groups for neighborhood beautification projects
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards and environmental regulations
- Assist in emergency response during severe weather events
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid Oklahoma driver's license with clean record
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Experience with heavy equipment operation or landscaping
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in all weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of municipal infrastructure systems
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Pass pre-employment background check and physical exam
