Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on city parks, playgrounds, and recreational facilities
- Operate heavy equipment including mowers, tractors, and waste management vehicles
- Assist in snow removal, storm cleanup, and emergency response operations
- Conduct daily inspections of public infrastructure to identify safety hazards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for infrastructure improvement projects
- Ensure compliance with municipal safety regulations and environmental standards
- Document maintenance activities and submit timely progress reports
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Valid Oklahoma driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years experience in groundskeeping, construction, or municipal operations
- Certification in heavy equipment operation preferred (CDL Class B a plus)
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Pass pre-employment physical and background check
