Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repair of city facilities, streets, and parks to ensure optimal functionality.
- Operate heavy machinery and light vehicles, including dump trucks and landscaping equipment, safely and efficiently.
- Respond to public service requests and citizen inquiries in a professional, courteous, and timely manner.
- Ensure strict compliance with all city safety regulations, environmental standards, and operational procedures.
- Collect and dispose of waste materials, maintain drainage systems, and assist with stormwater management tasks.
- Collaborate with a diverse team of professionals to complete large-scale municipal projects.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Physical ability to perform strenuous outdoor labor, including lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical equipment or a willingness to be trained on-site.
- Strong commitment to public service, community safety, and government standards.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and occasional overtime during emergencies.
